Cookie policy

This policy explains the cookies and other storage technologies our website uses, what they are for, who sets them and how you can manage them.

Last updated: 2 November 2026

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device, for example to keep you signed in. A website can also keep information in your browser's own storage. This page covers both.

The cookies we use

Visitors to our website get no cookies, and nothing is kept in your browser's storage. That includes our enquiry form and our document request form.

Our own staff get a few cookies when they sign in to the admin area, edit a page or search our enquiries. The admin area needs them to work: they keep staff signed in and their work secure. Our website sets them itself; no other company does. They are removed when the member of staff signs out.

Choices we have made

We don't use analytics or advertising, and nothing on our website follows you to other websites.

When you send one of our forms, a check run by Vercel, the company that hosts our website, tells real people from automated programs. It stores nothing on your device and sets no cookie.

Our fonts are stored on our own website, so your browser doesn't contact a font provider. The map on our contact page is an image. Google Maps opens only if you ask for directions.

If our website ever came under attack, Vercel could set one cookie on visitors to keep the site available, for as long as its protection stayed switched on.

Your choices

Your browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, and its help pages explain how. Blocking them won't change your visit, because our public pages don't use any. Non-essential technologies will only be used where permitted by applicable law.

More information

For how we use personal information, see our privacy policy. If we change how we use cookies, we will update this page and its date. For any question about cookies, email us at service@spencerhow.co.uk.
